Senior Pastors Rob and Christie Goyette

Rob and Christie are pastors with a true shepherd's heart, and it is their desire to bring God's people into a relationship with Him that cannont be shaken. They are both longtime residents of Northeast Florida, and began pastoring Living Waters World Outreach Center in 1995. They have asked Christ for the nations, and together they reveal a unique facet of God's glory as they pursue His calling to restore people back to God in spirit, soul, and body. Rob and Christie married in 1995 and have 4 children, one of whom has gone on to be with the Lord.

Associate Pastor Eric and Cheryl Myer

Eric and Cheryl have been with Living Waters since the beginning. Eric took an early retirement from Stone Container in the mid-1990’s when he was called of the Lord into full-time service. He has served as associate pastor since 2001 and is instrumental in facilitating the day-to-day operations of Living Waters and Faith Christian Academy. Cheryl has a beautiful voice and worships with song and instrument. She is a gardener who shares the fruit of her harvest and they are both involved in our infant and toddler ministry. She and Eric and have been residents of Nassau Country for over 30 years, have been married since 1975, and have 3 children.

Assistant Pastor Bob and Joane Wrenn

Since June of 2005, Bob has portrayed in every sense of the word a true Biblical picture of a pastor. He extends his arms to the congregation and all who visit, and his heart is open to all in need. The example he follows and the example he sets is Jesus, the one true Shepherd. Joane is a spiritual mother, encouraging women of all ages to fulfill their potential in God. Together, they are an effective team both in the church and in our community. Bob and Joane married in 1963, have 3 children, and 7 grandchildren.

Youth Pastors Eric & Nannette Snow

Eric and Nanette have high levels of energy and love, and lavish our teenagers with both. They met while working for Project SOS (Strengthening our Students), where they gained a personal knowledge of the turbulent world our teens face every day. Their desire is to reveal the value God places on every one of us as they reach out to our youth with hearts of compassion laced with accountability. Eric and Nanette married in 2006 and joined Living Waters as Youth Pastors in 2007.

Children's Pastor Esmelda Gill

Esmelda is a stabilizing force in our Children's Ministry, creatively reaching out and bringing them into the saving knowledge of Jesus. Skits that are silly and demonstrations that draw laughter all lead to life lessons that bring home the principles of Christ. Esmelda continually seeks the Lord's guidance on how to ensure the children in her care have a firm foundation. She also serves as a deaconess of Living Waters World Outreach Center.

It is said in 1 Tim.3:13 that “They who have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.” Living Waters' deacons and deaconesses are an extension of our pastoral care team and see to the physical and emotional needs of our congregation. They are servants of servants and continue to demonstrate for us all the true heart of Jesus.

Deacon Dan Broome

Dan Broome and his wife Jeannine moved to Fernandina Beach in 1998 and joined Living Waters in 2003. From the beginning it was obvious that they desired to live their lives unto God, and in 2008 Dan became a deacon. He serves on the worship team and in the men’s and prison ministries, enjoying every step of the journey. Dan serves as a U.S. Marshal in federal law enforcement, and knows the benefits that come with serving under the hand of authority. He and Jeannine were married in 1994 and have two girls, Katie and Carley.

Deaconess Vicki Cooper

Vicki is a teacher who moves in the gift of helps. Her heart is to see others set free through the pure love of Jesus, and she does this through worship and intercession, the ladies ministry, and the practical application of God’s word. Her years spent in the work force have given her an appreciation for the time she is now able to spend in the ministry, and she does so with a happy heart. Vicki is a Florida native and is married to John, the administrative assistant to the pastoral team of Living Waters. Vicki has served in this position since 2008.


	Deaconess Esmelda Gill Esmelda's devotion to the Lord is evident in her worship. She is a servant of servants, and her ministry is one of help and compassion. She's "been there herself", and disciples others with insight that comes from having first-hand knowledge of the spiritual battle we all face. Esmelda is a student of the Word, and her desire is to communicate God's unfailing love to those in our community. She and her daughter, Rebecca Grace, have been with Living Waters since 2000, and she has been a deaconess since 2005.

Deaconess Becky Mertz

Becky Mertz functions in the areas of bereavement support and is a long time board member. She serves with quiet authority and leads by example, crossing generational lines to minister encouragement to young and old alike. Becky is a warrior in the spirit, praying diligently for those in her care. She is strong in the Word, and her life radiates with love and commitment.

Deacon Mike Price

Mike Price is rock solid, and in 2008 began serving Living Waters as Head Deacon. He and his wife Janet moved to Fernandina Beach in 2004, and joined Living Waters that same year. Mike is involved with Faith Christian Academy’s Boy Scout Troop 701, is a mainstay in the multi-media department of Living Waters, and along with Janet serves as a Sunday School teacher to our Little Warriors. Mike and Janet married in 1994 and have three children.

Staff

Kathy Keller, Church Secretary

Every church needs a good secretary, and Kathy has been ours since 2003. She serves with a level of excellence that reflects her devotion to the Lord, and everyone loves her. Kathy married Eugene in 1969 and they have 3 children and 7 grandchildren.

John Cooper, Administrative Assistant

John came on staff in 2005 and is more than the administrative assistant to our pastoral team – he’s the “go to guy” who knows how to get things done. He spent 20 years in the Air Force after leaving his hometown of Fernandina, and he brings to the ministry an education in business and finance exercised through good common sense. John’s desire to live in God’s purpose enables him to see past the obvious and discern the real business at hand. He and wife, Vicki, have been married since 1973, and have been at Living Waters since 2001.
